Background
With the increasing of the quantity of motor vehicles kept in cities in China, the demand of expressway traffic is increasing, so that the traffic volume of a road network needs to be improved by an optimized management and control method under the limit of limited road conditions and traffic capacity.
The entrance ramp control has a very large role: firstly, the travel time of all vehicles in the whole expressway system can be reduced; secondly, the traffic flow is even and smooth; third, conflicts and incidents in intersections are eliminated or reduced.
The prior art has the following disadvantages: the existing ramp control method is mainly oriented to expressways and has the defects of traffic model construction, model parameter calibration, dependence on prior knowledge, control hysteresis and the like.

The invention has the advantages that: by designing an expressway ramp signal control optimization method based on reinforcement learning, verifying the ramp control method based on traffic simulation and evaluating the effect, the SUMO simulation verification effect is used, and a new thought and method are provided for subsequent theoretical research and engineering application.

Interpretation of terms:
sumo (simulation of Urban mobility) is free and open-source traffic system simulation software, and can realize microscopic control of traffic flow, namely the running route of each vehicle on a road can be independently planned. SUMO is a microscopic, continuous road traffic simulation software developed mainly by the german space center. The software started in 2000, and was developed as an open source, microscopic road traffic simulation with the primary objective of providing a vehicle for traffic research organizations to implement and evaluate their own algorithms.
The SARSA algorithm is a method for solving a reinforcement learning control problem by using time sequence difference, belongs to the time sequence difference on-line control algorithm, and consists of a plurality of letters of S, A, R, S and A. And S, A and R respectively represent State (State), Action (Action) and Reward (Reward).
Car Following (CF) behavior is the most basic microscopic driving behavior, describing the interaction between two neighboring vehicles in a fleet of vehicles traveling on a one-way track that limits overtaking. The Following model is used for researching corresponding behaviors of Following Vehicles (FV) caused by changes of motion states of a Leading Vehicle (LV) by using a dynamic method, and understanding the traffic flow characteristics of a single lane by analyzing the way that each Vehicle follows one by one, so that a bridge is built between the microscopic behaviors of a driver and the macroscopic phenomena of traffic.
Intelligent Driver Model (IDM).
The invention provides a reinforcement learning-based control optimization method for ramp signals on an express way, which has a basic program as shown in figure 1 and comprises the following steps:
s1, optimizing and controlling steps of ramp intersection. The method comprises the steps that real-time traffic flow on a road is detected through single-point self-adaptive control, and an upper computer selects a ramp signal control scheme according to the real-time traffic flow to establish an SARSA signal control model.
The invention selects the most common signal traffic light control mode which is easy to be accepted by drivers: single point adaptive signal control. The single-point self-adaptive control detects real-time traffic flow on a road, uploads the real-time traffic flow to the upper machine position, and the upper machine position selects the optimal traffic control scheme, so that indexes such as vehicle speed, delay, occupancy rate and the like are optimized. In addition, the adaptive control can be trained by self under the current environment after being combined with reinforcement learning so as to deal with the uncertainty of the traffic flow. And controlling the vehicles on the ramp to converge, and realizing signal control by using an SARSA reinforcement learning method.
Wherein the SARSA signal control model establishment comprises the following steps:
(1) round setting: one step for each signal period and one round for five periods.

the ramp intersection optimization control module 411 detects a real-time traffic flow on a road through single-point self-adaptive control, and the upper computer selects a ramp signal control scheme according to the real-time traffic flow and establishes an SARSA signal control model;
the model parameter calibration module 412 is used for acquiring a car following and track changing model and calibrating parameters of the car following and track changing model;
and the simulation module 413 is used for training the SARSA signal control model and the vehicle following and lane changing model after the parameters are calibrated according to preset requirements to obtain an optimized ramp signal control scheme.
The embodiment of the present application further provides an electronic device corresponding to the ramp signal control optimization method based on reinforcement learning provided in the foregoing embodiment, so as to execute the ramp signal control optimization method based on reinforcement learning. The embodiments of the present application are not limited.
Referring to fig. 4, a schematic diagram of an electronic device provided in some embodiments of the present application is shown. As shown in fig. 4, the electronic device 2 includes: the system comprises a processor 200, a memory 201, a bus 202 and a communication interface 203, wherein the processor 200, the communication interface 203 and the memory 201 are connected through the bus 202; the memory 201 stores a computer program that can be executed on the processor 200, and the processor 200 executes the computer program to execute the reinforcement learning-based ramp signal control optimization method provided by any one of the foregoing embodiments of the present application.

The processor 200 may be an integrated circuit chip having signal processing capabilities. In implementation, the steps of the above method may be performed by integrated logic circuits of hardware or instructions in the form of software in the processor 200.
