At present, automotive interior parts are usually formed by splicing large plastic parts and are used for realizing the light weight of an automobile body and improving the decoration of the interior of an automobile. In order to further improve the installation efficiency of the vehicle body final assembly, the automotive interior trim part is pre-installed when entering a final assembly workshop. For example, for complex large components such as an instrument panel, a door interior trim panel, and a glove box, a suitable welding process is selected to splice plastic parts together according to the requirements of materials, structures, performance, and the like. Conventional plastic welding processes include ultrasonic welding, hot plate welding, vibration friction welding, and the like.

For example, chinese patent document CN108145980B discloses an automatic ultrasonic-hot rivet welding apparatus for plastic parts and a welding method thereof. The equipment comprises a welding tool and a welding machine. When the welding tool is used, the welding tool enters the welding machine through the roller on the upper surface of the die changing trolley, the lower template is fixed on the working platform, the middle template is fixed on the middle template fixing plate, and the upper template is fixed on the upper template fixing plate. After the welding machine is started, different cylinders respectively drive the middle template fixing plate and the upper template fixing plate to move downwards along a guide rail in the welding machine, the middle template and the upper template are driven to move downwards together, and when a pressure point on the middle template is contacted with and pressed by a plastic part, an ultrasonic welding head and a hot riveting welding head on the upper template start welding.

Although the automatic ultrasonic-hot rivet welding equipment for the plastic parts reduces the labor intensity of assembly workers, the ultrasonic welding mode is limited to some plastics with low melting points, and the connection strength of welding spots formed by welding is not high. The hot melting driver comprises a connecting plate connected with the hot melting device, a sliding block which is arranged on the connecting plate and is provided with a through hole, a rotating shaft which is in switching fit with the through hole and a servo driver which drives the rotating shaft to rotate.

Although the above welding apparatus improves the strength of the connection between the plastic weld members by increasing the depth of the weld, the apparatus lacks a treatment for thermal stress generated in the weld. The thermal stress generated in the welding process is easy to cause the deformation of a plastic welding part, and the size precision of the plastic part after welding is difficult to ensure, so that the yield is reduced, and the difficulty of the whole vehicle assembly is increased.

In summary, how to design a welding device to improve the connection strength of the welded plastic parts and improve the dimensional accuracy in the welding process of the automotive interior plastic parts becomes a technical problem to be solved by those skilled in the art.

Disclosure of Invention

A pair of roll-over mounts 84 are fixedly mounted on the platform 2. A roll-over shaft is provided between the pair of roll-over bases 84. The turnover shaft is connected with the connecting seat.

The hot rivet welding assembly 41 is fixedly mounted on the mounting plate 42. The bottom of the mounting plate 42 is connected to a welding slide 43 by a welding slide. The first welding power cylinder 45 is fixedly mounted on the platform 2. The rod end of the first weld power cylinder 45 is connected to the mounting plate 42. A protective cover 44 is also arranged above the hot rivet welding assembly 41. The bottom of the platform 2 is provided with a guide mechanism 47 which ensures the movement accuracy of the second welding power cylinder 46. The bottom plate 51 of the fixing device 5 is provided with a through hole for the heat rivet welding assembly 41 to pass through.

The appearance edge size of the plastic component 6 is detected by the second detection sensor 10 and the third detection sensor 11, so that the size error between the plastic component 6 before hot-melt welding and the plastic component 6 after hot-melt welding can be compared on line, the manual re-inspection process is reduced, and the hot-melt welding efficiency is further improved.

The first detecting sensor 9, the second detecting sensor 10 and the third detecting sensor 11 can be laser sensors. The first welding power cylinder 45, the second welding power cylinder 46 and the pressing power cylinder can be electric cylinders to improve the position accuracy of the actuating mechanism. The first welding power cylinder 45, the second welding power cylinder 46 and the pressing power cylinder can also be air cylinders or oil cylinders according to actual requirements.

As shown in fig. 8 in conjunction with fig. 9, the plastic component 6 includes a main panel 63, a left side panel 61, and a right side panel 62. The main panel 63 is provided with a rivet 65 on a side wall thereof. And mounting holes matched with the riveting columns 65 are formed in the left side plate 61 and the right side plate 62. The front end of the main panel 63 is provided with a reinforcing plate 64. Wherein, rivet welding operation includes: the rivet head 411 of the hot rivet welding assembly 41 compresses the plastic assembly 6, the rivet column 65 is heated by laser radiation inside the hot rivet welding assembly 41, and the punch 412 of the hot rivet welding assembly 41 punches the rivet column 65 to form a locking rivet head.

As shown in fig. 10, a rivet 65 of the main panel 63 is inserted into the mounting hole of the left side plate 61. The ram 32 and the rivet head 411 of the hot rivet assembly 41 both apply an axial force to the plastic assembly 5, creating a further grip on the plastic assembly 6. The influence of thermal stress generated by welding on the design size of the plastic component 6 is reduced, and the size precision of the plastic component 6 after welding is improved. The hot tack welding assembly 41 may optionally heat the rivet stem 65 with focused infrared radiation. After heating for a period of time, the punch 412 in the hot rivet welding assembly 41 is driven by the pneumatic structure to punch the rivet stem 65 to form a locking rivet head. Meanwhile, compressed air is introduced into the hot rivet welding assembly 41 to cool and shape the locking rivet head. The influence of thermal stress on the design size of the plastic component 6 is further reduced, and the connection strength between parts in the plastic component 6 is greatly improved.

The present invention is not limited to the specific technical solutions described in the above embodiments, and other embodiments may be made in the present invention in addition to the above embodiments.
