An apparatus and method for displaying that an autonomous driving function has been activated for a vehicle, comprising a reminder system (1), characterized in that: the reminding system (1) is internally provided with a component A-vehicle signal receiver (2) and a component B-component C driving device (3), the component B-component C driving device (3) is connected with the component C-a roof-mounted light-emitting device (4), and the component A-vehicle signal receiver (2) is connected with a vehicle power supply and bus interface (7).

The apparatus and method for displaying that the vehicle has enabled the automatic driving function according to claim 1, wherein: a connection structure through a wire harness component D (5) is arranged between the component A, the vehicle signal receiver (2) and the component B, the component C and the driving device (3).
3. The apparatus and method for displaying that the vehicle has enabled the automatic driving function according to claim 1, wherein: the component A-the vehicle signal receiver (2) is connected between a vehicle power supply and a bus interface (7) through a connecting wire harness E (6).

The apparatus and method for displaying that the vehicle has enabled the automatic driving function according to claim 1, wherein: the component B-component C drive device (3) can be arranged as a separate component or can be arranged as a component structure with the component A, and the component B-component C drive device (3) can drive the component C-roof-mounted light-emitting device (4) to emit light.
5. The apparatus and method for displaying that the vehicle has enabled the automatic driving function according to claim 1, wherein: the component C-a vehicle roof-mounted lighting device (4) is configured as an LED lamp structure which can have color and brightness changes.

The apparatus and method for displaying that the vehicle has enabled the automatic driving function according to claim 1, wherein: the component A-vehicle signal receiver (2) is provided as a microprocessor structure with vehicle signal communication protocol software, and the component A-vehicle signal receiver (2) has the function that whether the automatic driving function is started or not can be received from a signal system of the vehicle by using the vehicle-interior communication protocol.

The apparatus and method for displaying that the vehicle has enabled the automatic driving function according to claim 5, wherein: the color of the component C-roof mounted light emitting device (4) is set to be red to yellow, and the component C-roof mounted light emitting device (4) has a morphological structure of bright three seconds and dark one second cycle and bright one second and dark one second cycle.
Background
The automatic driving technology becomes a mature technology of some mass-produced vehicles, and more vehicles with the automatic driving function can get on the road. The design of the vehicle with the automatic driving function can avoid more traffic accidents, however, the actual road conditions may vary greatly, and the automatic driving vehicle can also cause various traffic accidents. Therefore, the method for enabling pedestrians and other vehicles to directly visually recognize whether the surrounding vehicles are started to automatically drive helps the pedestrians and the vehicles to be vigilant and avoid unnecessary accidents.
Currently, the automatic driving function is manually activated by the driver, and necessary prompts are generally generated in the vehicle. The invention provides a device (light) and a method for displaying outside of a vehicle, which aims to provide necessary and timely warning for pedestrians and other vehicles.

The invention aims to provide a device and a method for displaying that a vehicle has started an automatic driving function, which are used for warning pedestrians and vehicles outside the vehicle. Pedestrians and other vehicles can know the automatic driving state represented by the light change through simple notification and understanding including reading the specification, so that whether the pedestrians and other vehicles need to be correspondingly prepared or not is judged, and accidents are avoided.

an apparatus and method for displaying that an autonomous driving function has been enabled for a vehicle, including a reminder system, characterized by: the interior of the reminding system is provided with a component A-vehicle signal receiver and a component B-component C driving device, wherein the component B-component C driving device is connected with the component C-a light-emitting device arranged on the roof, and the component A-vehicle signal receiver is connected with a vehicle power supply and a bus interface.
Preferably, a connection structure through a wire harness component D is arranged between the component A, the vehicle signal receiver and the driving device of the component B, the component C.
Preferably, the component A, the vehicle signal receiver, is connected between a vehicle power supply and a bus interface through a connecting wire harness E.
Preferably, the driving device of the component B-component C may be configured to be a separate component, or may be configured to be a component structure with the component a, and the driving device of the component B-component C may be configured to drive the component C-the vehicle roof-mounted lighting device lighting structure.
Preferably, the component C-a roof-mounted luminaire is provided as an LED lamp configuration which can be provided with color and shade variations.
Preferably, the component a-vehicle signal receiver is configured as a microprocessor structure with vehicle signal communication protocol software, and the component a-vehicle signal receiver has a function of receiving whether the vehicle enables the automatic driving function from a signal system of the vehicle by using an in-vehicle communication protocol.
Preferably, the color of the component C-roof mounted lighting device is set to be red rather than yellow, and the component C-roof mounted lighting device has a configuration of three seconds bright and one second dark cycle and one second bright and one second dark cycle.

When the driver in the vehicle starts the automatic driving, the device A obtains the signal through the CAN bus and informs the device B to light the LED lamp tube of the device C. The color of the LED according to the level of automatic driving may be displayed as follows:
the vehicle is in a fully autonomous driving state: lighting a red LED lamp;
the vehicle is in a partially autonomous state: and lighting the yellow LED lamp.
If only one color LED lamp is equipped, the flickering of the lamp can be varied as follows:
the vehicle is in a fully autonomous driving state: cycling between light and dark for three seconds and one second;
the vehicle is in a partially autonomous state: cycle bright one second dark one second.
Therefore, pedestrians and other vehicles can be informed of the level of automatic driving of the vehicle, whether the vehicle is driven partially automatically or completely automatically, and accidents are avoided.
