In addition, with the aid of the camera of electronic equipment, the hardware cost of equipment has greatly reduced.
In some embodiments, the instruction is made by the triggering means of the device being triggered in a single or in a succession of triggers. In some embodiments, the triggering device may be a physical key or a virtual key. In some embodiments, the instructions issued when the trigger means of the device is triggered a single time are different from the instructions issued when the trigger means of the device is triggered continuously. For example, the instruction issued when the trigger device of the apparatus is triggered by a single time may be an instruction to acquire a single-frame image, and the instruction issued when the trigger device of the apparatus is triggered continuously may be an instruction to acquire a plurality of-frame images. Additionally, in some embodiments, it may be a recognized word or phrase when a single frame image is acquired. In some embodiments, when acquiring multiple frames of images, it may be to identify sentences or paragraphs.
In some embodiments, the information related to the material content includes a pronunciation, translation, and/or interpretation of the material content. In some embodiments, after the electronic device identifies the corresponding material content in the image, it may call its own stored database and/or obtain information related to the material content from a network database when networking, for example, for a word, after the word is identified from the picture by OCR, any related information such as pronunciation, chinese translation, word meaning explanation, etc. of the word may be provided.
In some embodiments, outputting information related to the material content includes outputting the information related to the material content through a voice component of the electronic device or the device. In some embodiments, the electronic device can play the information related to the material content out through the speaker. In some embodiments, the electronic device may transmit information related to the material content to the device and then play the information in the speaker of the device. In some occasions where silence is desired, the electronic device is not expected to play loud sound, but the device can play sound close to the ear of the user, so that the external environment is not interfered, the quiet learning atmosphere is favorably kept, and noise interference to other surrounding learners is avoided.
In some embodiments, the electronic device includes a display screen. In some embodiments, outputting information related to the material content further comprises displaying the information related to the material content through a display screen. By displaying on the display screen, the learner can view information related to the identified material content, such as translations and interpretations.

In some embodiments, when the instruction is made by said triggering means of the device being continuously triggered, the content of the sentence or paragraph can be identified, and by acquiring multiple frames of images, the start and end points of the identified material content can be known.
In some embodiments, identifying the material content in the image at the location corresponding to the device comprises: identifying the material content from a first location to a second location, wherein the first location corresponds to the location of the device at the beginning of the triggering event and the second location corresponds to the location of the device at the end of the triggering event. As shown in FIG. 2, acquiring an image includes acquiring a plurality of frame images, for example, acquiring a first image of the device at a first location 21; a second image of the device at a second position 22 is acquired. In some embodiments, the first position 21 corresponds to the position of the device when the triggering means starts to be triggered, and the second position 22 corresponds to the position of the device when the triggering means ends to be triggered. For example, when the device is in the first position 21, a triggering device (e.g., a key) of the device is triggered, and a camera of the electronic device acquires a frame of image. When the device is moved to the second position 22, the user may release the key, i.e. the triggering means of the device is triggered, at which time the camera of the electronic device captures a second image. It should be understood that this is merely exemplary, and the camera of the electronic device may take continuous shots at preset time intervals (e.g., at 0.5s or 1s intervals) when the triggering device of the device is triggered until the triggering device of the device is triggered. In some embodiments, identifying the material content in the image at the location corresponding to the device comprises: the material content from the first location 21 to the second location 22 is identified. In some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 2, the apparatus may virtually draw a box 20 on the book material, triggering the device from a first position 21 to the end of a second position 22. It should be understood that although the second device depicts box 20, the electronic device identifies the material content as the entire content from the first location 21 to the second location 22, and is not limited to the content within box 20.
In some embodiments, identifying the material content at the location in the image corresponding to the device further comprises identifying the material content at the corresponding location according to the material content of the context of the corresponding location. In some embodiments, outputting information related to the material content includes giving a meaning of the material content at the corresponding location based on the material content of the context of the corresponding location, which may make identification of the material content more accurate. For example, again the word "bus", is commonly interpreted as "bus", but if the context of the material reveals that the material relates to the computer domain, the meaning of "bus" may be given and they may be ordered with the closest meaning "bus" first. Thus, the output information can be more accurate.
In some embodiments, some of the material contents are polysemous words, and at this time, the context of the material contents at the position corresponding to the device in the currently acquired image can be determined by referring to the material contents of the images acquired twice before, so as to determine the meaning of outputting the corresponding material contents (for example, words), and the preferred meaning is arranged in front, which is convenient for the user to refer to, so that the output information can more accurately reflect the meaning of the corresponding material contents.
In some embodiments, the device may be an electronic pen, the electronic device being a tablet computer, a smart desk lamp, or a smart phone. In some embodiments, the device is an electronic pen with bluetooth, and the electronic device may be a typical tablet, smartphone, or the like.
