Background
The application of the internet of things technology to monitoring the use of articles is many, the most common applications are RFID radio frequency, opening and closing of a storage bin door, optical induction, gravity induction and the like, but all the applications have disadvantages, and the RFID radio frequency has more induction parts, so that the economy and the saving are not facilitated; the type of the article monitored by opening and closing the door is limited; other sensors have more or less requirements on detected articles, and currently, an intelligent medicine box capable of monitoring whether to take medicine is provided, wherein the principle is that whether the medicine box is opened or not is judged through a switch device in a medicine box flip, and once the medicine box is opened, the medicine box is judged to be taken once according to the dosage by a system. However, the opening of the box cover does not necessarily indicate that the medicine is taken out, and the quantity of the medicine taken out cannot be sensed; the intelligent medicine boxes in the market have limited identification types of medicines; by utilizing the RFID radio frequency technology, the original external package of the medicine is usually damaged, an RFID electronic tag is attached, and the processes of disassembly and secondary processing lead to resource waste and low efficiency. There is a need for a detection system and method that addresses the problem of being cost effective and capable of monitoring a wide variety of items.
